Taken in the summer of 1942 showing a pack string that brought supplies to the Blister Rust Camp 455 located on Beaver Creek, 6 or 7 miles west of the mouth. Lawrence Jaky was camp boss and the Football coach at Walla Walla high school. Walter Gustafson was a member of this camp eradicating wild current and goosebery ribes. |
