Written on the back of the black and white photograph is: "M Fish Kitchen with folks around the table 1911". This is a close up of the rustic stick and pole structure covered in canvas which served as an-air dining area for Fish's Landing across from the Twin Islands. Canvas sides are rolled up and secured to give a view of the surrounding building and woods. There is a woman standing and visible in the shadowed areas. Mose Fish looks directly at the photographer from his place at the table stacked with papers and a woman sits across from him. Kitchen items are indistinct in the background. |
